Democrats Make More Sense
No matter who the nominees are for the Democratic Party this year, they have to offer us better treatment than what we and our poor little nation have received under Republican control. No matter if its health, education, welfare, the economy, foreign diplomacy or national security we are all suffering under the gridlock of lockdown control this president has seized from us. This Administration just doesn't seem to place much stock in Democracy being a legitimate form of government.
So the season has begun and candidates are feeling out West Virginia support. You need to decide who among the Democrats can lead us into the light. So do yourself and your family a favor and get informed. Here are some choices.
Governor Richardson
Thanks to everyone who attended the house party last night to learn more about Bill Richardson, his experience, his ideas and his vision for America's future. Good news, Bill's grass roots efforts are already paying off. The latest CNN/NH poll shows him at 10%, within a few points of John Edwards.
Many folks also asked, “How can we in WV help Bill Richardson?” What can we do since by the time our primary occurs, the nominee will most likely have been chosen. I think the best thing we can do is give money and raise money. Last night we raised $2350! I'm convinced that more people know about Bill, the more money we can raise for his campaign right here in WV.
While we're all frustrated at the mainstream media's tendency to “crown” the front runners so soon, rather than lament the lack of coverage we watched several YouTube videos and investigated Bill Richardson's website. Everyone commented that they learned a lot. If you are interested in hosting a house party please email me and I'll point out the links that I thought were most helpful.
As requested, I've ordered bumper stickers and will have them available for those who want them. I found a great source for less than $1 each (as we discussed, the campaign doesn't have available yet). Hope you like them.
