FOR INDEPENDENT VOTERS
WE WANT YOUR VOTE TO COUNT
When you go to vote, remember to SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR THE DEMOCRATIC BALLOT before you enter the voting booth. Otherwise your vote won’t count and you’ll be seriously limited on the races for which you can vote.
We know many people – literally thousands of you - have changed party affiliation or registered as Independents just so you can VOTE for DEMOCRATS. We’re tickled pink to have you standing with us.
But what they won’t tell you is that you must specifically ask for the Democratic Ballot before you go into the voting booth. If you don’t ask you’ll be given the Non-Partisan Ballot which only let’s you vote for School Board candidates.
It’s too late to correct the technicality now but REMEMBER. If you’re REGISTERED INDEPENDENT and want to VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS ASK FOR THE DEMOCRATIC BALLOT.
