With less than a week behind her, Anne Barth is already tearing up the campaign trail. I know many of you have asked where to send contributions so we will repeat the PO Box address.

In the meantime, her website is almost ready to go live and there will be a link for those of you who wish to make your campaign contributions online.
After her Charleston Capitol announcement in front of friends, family, and Democrats – all hungry to turn their District Blue as well as Republicans and Independents hungry for genuine change, Anne and her campaign team headed to the Eastern Panhandle for a rally. There she was greeted by 200 supporters who did her proud and cheered her on. You go Anne Barth!!!!
And the word has gone forward. We have a candidate who can win this race and voters who are eager to help her get there. But it's going to take all of us working as hard as Anne Barth will work if we're really to see the change we keep talking about. So no speechifying – you know what needs to be done to pull this off. We just need to get there together.
One of the big surprises was finding our kindred soul mates in a progressive website that hails from the Eastern Panhandle. It is called WVABlue and boy is it one of the best we've seen.
They had up and running almost as soon as it took place, news and photos of the Anne Barth for Congress campaign during her Eastern Panhandle swing. Check them out at: www.wvablue.com. You're gonna love them. We do and now that we know they are out there we'll connect this part of the state with them so we can trade campaign information back and forth.

Our vote won't be official of course because West Virginia has been left out of the Primary Election picture. The official vote in WV is on May 13, but you can get in on our straw poll - there's still time to vote!
It's easy, go to votewv.net to cast your ballot. You have until "polls" close at 7:30 on February 5th.
